To conduct a comprehensive eye exam, the doctors will examine your eyes on your first visit using dilation drops. These will cause blurriness in your close-up vision and sensitivity to light for up to 6-8 hours after your exam. It is safe to drive afterwards, and we have disposable sunglass inserts that will diminish the effects of the sunlight outside. If you have any further questions or concerns about the dilation, you may raise them during your appointment.
